My human’s boyfriend left town again — she said he is “off being a rock star,” whatever that means. Anyhow, she was happy he left when he did because a big box with one of his Christmas presents arrived the very next day. Since he only looks at my website when he gets the monthly newsletter, he won’t even find out about it until Christmas morning.
But just in case someone he knows tips him off, I can’t show you what was in the box. I can, however, show you the terrible wrapping job my human did on it. My human is famous for her clumsy, slapped-together giftwrap jobs.
Even with a week and a half to wrap the thing properly, she still throws it together like it’s a last-minute task. Binga thought it looked terrible, and she’s not exactly one who knows about making things look pretty. She’s more into wrecking stuff.
To avoid that happening to the Christmas present, my human took it upstairs out of our reach. But she did leave us the box it came in, so we have a cool, pre-Christmas gift of our own!

@Rumblepurr – my human has had that tape dispenser for years! The lesson with Hello Kitty stuff: get it while you can because they sell out and then they usually don’t make any more.

Mom’s gramma used to wrap pressies so bad, Mom could peak at da corners an put back da tape. She shoulda got a lumpa coal fur dat! We’s good bout leafin pressies alone, unless they gots catnip. Then I am obligated to rub an scratch. One year, Bonnie was sent a catnip mat so potent, she smelled it thru a box, plastic bag, an wrappin paper on da top shelf of da closet! Mom says she was rollin on dat mat ofur an hour when they got it out on Chrissymouse day!
