My 2013 calendar is officially up for sale at my Zazzle store! My human got the proof and it was okay as it was, but she decided to lighten up a few of the photos just a touch (they look darker on paper than on the computer), and make the spiral black instead of white (although you can change it to any color you want). So with that done, she believes it’s the best it can be for 2013! And this year her best is quite good! But it took a lot to get there… 10 years’ worth of work!
That’s right — this is my tenth calendar in a row! Nine out of ten of them are here. I don’t know what happened to 2007. I kind of liked that year.
Here is my very first calendar for 2004. Can you believe how terrible it was? Can it say “amateur” any louder?
By 2006, my human’s photography, and her taste in fonts, had begun to improve. I actually still use this photo to show off my sexiness!
For a couple of years, my human made different sized calendars! Since she was not exactly a Photoshop wiz, it took her forever to do them because she had to resize everything by hand (she did not know any of the good shortcuts!). After a while she decided it was too much work. This calendar got beat up looking from sitting around for so long — it was too big for her to file away.
My 2009 calendar was pretty nice looking! In fact, it won a Muse Medallion from the Cat Writers Association for Best Photograph (series).
The calendar for 2010 got a Muse Medallion too!
I did not get a Muse Medallion for my 2011 calendar, although it did get a Certificate of Excellence. The cover does feature one of my human’s favorite photos of me, but she does not think the inside photos were quite as good as the past two years. My 2012 calendar got a Certificate of Excellence, but I won’t know if it has won anything more for a couple of weeks.
Which brings me to my 2013 Calendar! Each month has a different Cat Rule for your human, in an awesome layout! You have to check it out — it makes a great gift for anyone who likes us kitties, not just cat bloggers! Two things make it even better:
1) Zazzle sells internationally! I was told shipping to Canada is pretty reasonable — you tell me if it is the same for other countries!
2) This is the best of all — if you get my 2013 calendar between now and November 27, you get 25% off! Just enter CALENDARTIME at checkout in the “Zazzle Coupons/Gift Certificates” box. So this is a great time to do some gift shopping — 25% off means if you order 4, it’s almost like getting one for free!
I am totally proud of my calendar this year. I am even proud of my human, and that is saying a lot! So please spread the word!
