Wait a minute… there is something wrong here! Boodie, this is my book and my book party! I’m supposed to be making the announcement!
Anyway, I am going to ignore the cat behind me and let you know that my book launch party will start this Friday, October 1st at midnight, Pacific Time and last all weekend, until Sunday, 11:59 PM, Pacific Time. If you buy a book from Amazon during that weekend, and you let me know, my human will donate a dollar to Winging Cat Rescue — a dollar donated for each book! So if you haven’t gotten my book yet and want to, this is a good time to do it — or you might want to get in some early holiday gift shopping! If you already have my book and still want to donate to Winging Cat Rescue, or if you would like to donate more, I will have a donation widget up on my site for them the whole month of October!
And there is more fun to be had! Remember I mentioned a while back about sending out bookmarks to anyone who sends me a self-addressed, stamped envelope? Well, if you come to my party post on Friday and comment that you want one, you don’t even need to send me a SASE — I will pay the postage! And if you already have my book, or if you buy one during my book launch party, I will also include a PAWtographed book plate! PLUS one lucky commenter will get the brand new FURminator my human brought home from the BlogPaws conference a couple of weeks ago. I will have all the details on Friday.
You know, this is getting ridiculous. I think I’ve said everything I need to right now. I’m outta here.

And many many thanks to all of your friends who will be buying your book also. It’s been an incredibly overwhelming kitten season this year along with so many hoarding cases coming to the pounds. We were thrilled to win Petfinder Grants for cat vaccinations for Spalding and Jasper AC in Georgia which is helping keep the kitties healthy for potential adopters and rescuers. Our monthly Catsnip low cost mobile clinic for local pet owners for pets and strays is almost full up again for females for October which is just another one of our proactive efforts to keep those kitties “home” and out of those kill pounds!

Sparkle, thank you so much for helping Winging Cat Rescue! They are such a terrific group and they’ve saved so many lives! I’ll buy your book this weekend and I can’t wait to read it. Most of the money that I donate to “cat causes” (my favorite) goes to WCR because I believe so strongly in the great work they are doing. They are really making a difference for the cats and I hope everyone will support them.
