Warriors Super Edition: Crookedstar’s Promise
By Erin Hunter
Whether you stopped following the Warriors saga after the first series (which most readers consider the best), or have continued up to the fourth series (which is currently on book number four of six), Crookedstar’s Promise has much to offer. Fans of the earlier books will enjoy finding out more about the history of the popular RiverClan leader: how he overcame a disfiguring accident and rejection from his mother to become head of his Clan. If you’ve read the previous Super Edition, Bluestar’s Prophecy, you will remember Crookedstar during his apprentice days when he befriends (for a while) the future ThunderClan leader. Now we get to see his side of many of the events that shaped that book, and the whole first Warriors series. Those who are on the latest — and final — Warriors series will get some more clues about the dark forest and its denizens, especially one cat in particular who mentors the well-meaning but naive young cat. Crookedstar’s error has effects that resonate for the rest of his life — and perhaps generations to come. Either way, you won’t want to miss this excellent addition to the Warriors books.

Fanks for the info Sparkle ~ we’ve neber heard abowt this book.
The Warriors series is meant for tweens and young teens — except I know a LOT of grown-up cat lovers who enjoy the books. It about feral cats who live in the forest, specifically four neighboring clans, and their battles with nature, man, and with each other. I suppose it could be seen as an allegory for a lot of human situations.
This book is Sound Good to Me ! Make a list for mom ; )

That does sound like a good book Sparkle. We have never heard of that series either. We just might have to give it a try. Good luck in the Petties tomorrow. Take care.
Thanks for the book recommendation. We’re always interested in a good read.
We had never heard about this book – we’ll get mum to ask at the library if they have it.

Wow, I nefur heard of these books afore! I wonder if my mama can get them at the library? They sound great!
I’m sure your human can find them at the library — that’s where my human used to pick them up before she got hooked and began buying them on the day they hit our local B&N!
Sounds intriguing!!!! I don’t know these warrior cats, but I’ll check it out
This book even sounds interesting for someone who doesn’t live with a cat.
Those books do sound really good so we’ll have to check them out!
These books must be good as you give such positive reviews overall is there any place to start the series as it looks like a complex world.
Start from the first book of the first series, Into the Wild.
My Human is all about the cats and not so much about reading about the cats. I say she should expand her literary horizons, hrrmph!
Thinking good thoughts about the Petties tomorrow!
