As you know, cats don’t read (it’s not necessarily that we can’t—we just have better things to do). But that doesn’t stop me from reviewing worthy cat books. My human reads the books to me and then I make my assessment. Being a cat, perhaps my opinion will differ from a human’s perspective. But that’s your problem, not mine.

This charming, classic book about Norton the traveling Scottish Fold and his human companion, publisher/ author/ screenwriter Peter Gethers, made my human laugh out loud more than once.

What first drew me to this book was that the cover boasted, “Answers your cat food questions.” Unfortunately, it didn’t answer my cat food questions, which were, “Why don’t they make mouse-flavored cat food?” and “How come no one has packaged crunchy cricket cat treats?”
