Cat Books - From a Cat's Point of View

the stink files postman always brings mice written by holm and hamel The Stink Files: The Postman Always Brings Mice
Written by Holm and Hamel

You've got to pity James Edward Bristlefur - the dignified, urbane feline was the brilliance behind the career of his human, Sir Archibald, the director of Great Britain's most secret counterspy agency. But one dark night, when Sir Archibald mysteriously keels over dead, James' life is turned upside down. Through a series of unfortunate events, he finds himself in suburban New Jersey, living with a rather gauche, bourgeois American family and renamed - of all things - Mr. Stink. This is the first of a series of books featuring Mr. Stink (James to you!), as he attempts to solve the murder of Sir Archibald while learning that his new American family is not so bad after all. In this book, James learns how to deal with low-class Jersey mice, helps the family's young boy human and learns that female cats are the same the world over. Humans of all ages will enjoy this book - the youngsters will like the story, and the full-grown humans will appreciate the James Bond references. And cats will identify with James' frustrating dilemmas, and we'll cheer along with him as he figures out how best to outsmart both humans and creatures alike.
